I am sure you can read the part that says, "Life is Beautiful." But can you see the banner on the tall Ochre building that says, "Love is the Answer'? I did not have time to photo this building in its entirety, but return soon to get more shots.

It is amazing!

Well, I am finally entering the digital age for seniors. And loving it! I bought myself an early birthday present. A Fire Kindle. And am in the process of setting it up. Whew! Lots to learn. It does so much. Anyway, about 30% there.

At the same time, my lovely daughter and son-in-law surprised me with an early BD present. An IPhone4 with 3G capabilities.

One of my BD dream wishes for about 10 years, but I was too cheap to pay the monthly service fees. However, now that I am not buying as a single, but as a "family" member, I got a deal. The IPhone4 setup is not for the faint hearted, nor the geriatric set, as it takes a lot of patience. My patience is limited. I have to remember the HALT thingy (never get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired...Something like that)

It took me the whole of this morning to just get used to the keyboard to type the information for an Apple ID and the Password and Credit Card info. But hey, I did it. I am so proud. As I depended on the brilliance of my friends to help me in the past.

In addition to this, I had to set up WiFi/Internet in my apartment to use with my Kindle, as well as my IPhone4, as well as visitors with MacPro, laptops etc. I used my Grandson's Acer Laptop, very basic to do this as my IMac G3 is not well enough...Poor Baby. (Next year, a Mac Pro Laptop for me from Ebay). I am saving my pennies now...Haha.

Let's hope that after all the "doctoring" and a strong heart beat, I will be able to travel with my new electronic stuff to Paris and visit Monet's garden. And have soup and hot bread in a local cafe. Dreams do come true. Some take longer than others.

I am growing up. But I still reach for a hand to hold during these ordeals...Thank God for Tech Support and Specialists... They are my new Social Network.

Well, that was Thanksgiving week. Intense, but progressive.
